Opera Joven's Brent Renard had a show at Bosamba Ocean Paradise today.




Singing selections from Handel and others, we got a chance to catch our breath to listen to this beautiful singer and his accompanist, Iago Hepzipig.

This weekend Opera Joven sim opened to a successful crowd of enthusiastic avis. Lago de Chapala & Isla de los Alacranes is a beautiful addition to both the culture of Mexico and the grid itself.



The sim, Opera Joven is a non-profit organization for the Jalisco community in Mexico for promotions of the Jalisco and Mexican cultures.

Mariachi music was playing during the Mother's Day celebration on Sunday afternoon. Dressed in Charro outfits, Brent Renard and his fellow performers gave a beautiful show of vocals. Soaring voices and acoustic guitars enhanced the Spanish words and romantic music.

Big thanks to Brent Renard for this new sim offering and the joys of opera. The "opera" is live in Second Life. And the crowds that showed up today prove that this music is well-received here in our virtual world.
