Aspiring models have an opportunity to become the reigning 2011 Miss Mohna Lisa Couture. This beauty contest event will be judged by a panel of pre-selected judges.


Whether you just need a little extra cash or you are an aspiring model, or you just know you look hot,  this is the event for you.


The  beauty contest will be judged by a panel of pre-selected judges.  Please note: This is NOT a popularity contest.


The Prizes:


1st Prize
                 ★  L$40,000
                 ★  A stunning new design named after you.
                 ★  All MLC new releases during reign.
                
2nd Prize
                ★ L $7,000
                ★Two free MLC outfits of your choice to be claimed
                within 3 months from announcement of winners.
              
3rd Prize
               ★  L$3,000
                ★  Two free MLC outfits of your choice to be claimed
                within 3 months from announcement of winners.

How to enter Ms Mohna Lisa Couture:

STEP 1:     Visit Mohna Lisa Couture at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Braindead/119/180/813 or click on the landmark below.

STEP 2: Join the MLC update group.  The group inviter can be found on the left side upon entering the store (the box floating above fire) and will either automatically invite you if within it's immediate area or by clicking on it.
Be sure to pick up the free member only gifts after you join. :)

STEP 3:  Purchase any design you wish from the store that you want to take your photo in, it DOES NOT have to be a new release the choice is yours so long as it is not a free gift.
If you already have a Mohna Lisa Couture design you do not have to make a new purchase.

STEP 4:  Take a photo/snapshot at any location on any theme you like in your MLC design, must be in at least 1024 x 1024 and no larger than 2048 x 2048 resolution. Be sure to make it full perm.

STEP 5:  Rename your photo "MLC PHOTO ENTRY - (your name here)" and send it to Dolce Zeplin no later than midnight on December 26th 2010.  All entries will appear on the MLC Flickr site at http://www.flickr.com/photos/mohnalisacouture/

Finalists will be announced on Monday, January 3, 2011 by way of group notice and also on the MLC blog site, the  MLC Moolto group and the MLC Facebook group.

The finale, final judging and announcement of Ms. Mohna Lisa Couture, 2nd & 3rd place winners will be held on Sunday, January 9 2011 at 6pm SLT.  Location TBA later.


RULES:

1.  You must be wearing a Mohna Lisa Couture outfit.
2.  You may only submit 1 photograph.
3.  No logos, signs or names are allowed on the photographs.
4.  No nudity.
5.  The size of the photographs should be no smaller than 1024x1024 and no larger than 2048 pixels.
6.  Mohna Lisa Couture reserves the right to disqualify if the rules mentioned are not respected.
7.  Group freebies are not allowed for contest entries.
8.  Staff members of Mohna Lisa Couture may not enter.

A new era in fashion begins ...

Some people say that being a virtual model is easy: You buy a shape and some stylish hair; then you get a nice skin, a pretty dress and a proper AO and off you go down the runway.

Maybe true! So what differentiates the hundreds of thousands of ladies that are dancing in a disco at any given time from the absolute top models?

 It's their ability to style!

Style is an artful talent

The ability to style and make themselves fabulous and unique every time, is the difference between anyone and a fashion connoisseur. They need to know when to leave an outfit alone (less is more), but also when to mix and match and accesorize in a fabulous way to create that look that will have everybody else inspecting them!

Frolic Mills and Mimmi Boa in association with METAVERSE TV are proud to announce the first televised master styling competition. This show is available for both ladies and gentlemen.

We are looking for the woman that will represent the elegant brand of Azul for an entire year. Miss Azul will have impeccable styling skills, be extremely photogenic and above all else represent the brand of Azul in a responsible and respectable manner. If you believe that you could be Miss Azul 2010 please read the following terms, conditions and instructions on how to apply.

- 50,000 Linden cash prize
- New Azul wardrobe consisting of all current designs and new releases through out the entire year
- Appear in all magazine advertisements through the entire year
- Custom crown created for Miss Azul by Virtual Impressions

B) One 512x512 face shot of your avatar wearing an Azul design. Full Perms please.
C) One 512x512 full length shot of your avatar styled using Azul creations.  Full Perms please.

3. Submit the properly titled notecard to Kay Fairey AND Mami Jewell no later than Midnight (slt) on July 9, 2010.
