Maximillion Kleene sent over some cool info about the Olympic Torch Relay in Vancouver, Canada. And, I mean... really cool information peeps! Here is the info in Max's own words as follows:


"I will be a torchbearer for the Olympic torch relay for the upcoming games in Vancouver, Canada. I wanted to share this with my SL friends, so here's how you can watch the moment from a live webcam...


Enter the following URL in your web browser : 
http://www.ctvolympics.ca/torch/follow-torch/index.html?cid=tsn_torch 
and bookmark it or create desktop shortcut.  


The video runs on the "Silverlight" media player. You will need to download and install it.  


It is a free download and you can see the link for it just under the video screen.  
Once you have the Silverlight player installed. You should see video if the torch relay is currently happening.  


If not, the relay might be stopped for the night and will resume in the morning. Ocasionally, the video will drop out and resume. Hopefully, it'll be nice and smooth on Sunday nite.  


My portion of the relay will be on the evening of Sunday, December 20th at approximately 3:10 pm "SL time" (6:10 pm EST).

Tonight, we dropped in for Dance4Life after hour party on the rooftop of NYC.









Mareabella Magic was dancing and partying with the Dance4Life crowd and the music was pure party tunes.












We listen, we dance and we forget all about the hurried hectic Christmas holiday season! Dance, dance, dance! Woot!

Eon Republic over at BassLine Island LiveFactory sent out a shout for djSven Newman and Okin Nishi. Two of the hottest dj's on the Second Life grid.






I saw old friends Laya, Aurora, Lennox and others bouncing to the hard beats. Fun times on the grid! Woot!

Artists in Second Life are a varied group of people who create fine art, art performances, video, music and scripting.  






One artist that I have met is an incredible artist, builder, creator, filmmaker and videographer. Eifachfilm Vacirca also dj's a wonderful indie set of international mash that is pure party music. Today, he is dj'ing at Le Diam's Club, an outdoor setting.  



His group d-oo-b has a wonderful representation of his artful videos. Check them out!








In Second Life, it is rare that an artist does one thing and Eifachfilm does it all! Woot!

Christmas holiday is a time for giving and many fundraisers are happening around the grid for many worthy causes.






Pete Westminster of Popscene on Londons Calling sim is holding a non-stop fundraiser for War Child. Music will be back to back throughout the day.









The avatars in Second Life enjoy themselves with their artful ways, but fundraising for causes brings a bit of reality to our avi lives. Woot!
