Outdoor Garden Sale!

When surreal botanical artist Soror Nishi recently announced she would no longer make her creations available in SL (except for occasional new shows), some alarmed friends and appreciators asked her to offer her old creations one last time.

So for one to weeks her amazing, vividly colored, joyous trees and flowers will be hosted at Prism Lila.

IMPORTANT: Please look up!! There are three platforms above the ground parcel.

Past shows and gallery exhibits:
She has shown "flora virtua exotica" at Burning Life 07 & 08, NPIRL Garden of Delights, Orange Island, The Hill (arts, sculpture and dance club), Vision Gallery, le parc des arts, and an extensive refurbishment of Avgi, Isle of Awakening, SL6B, Phoenicia,  Lalalala Gallery, Evolution Gallery, Angelgate,The Vienna Quarter, Formes Nocturnes and  Poetik velvets, Raglan Shire, BL09, REN, University of Western Australia, :::soup Magoo:::,Deutche Info Welt, University of Delaware.... and ... This Is the Tail
Of Susa Bubble
Who went to bed single
And woke up double

Woke up as two
In her single bed.
Who are you? Who are you?’
She said, she said,

There was no holding on after that
Some were happy, others sad
They all came in the same tiny size
Had short little fingers
And blue round eyes

All of a sudden it stopped finally
And they ended up with thirty-three

It is A sweet but savage Story.
About how single Susa doubles up.
How she can't handle to be out of balance,
and despite her best willing to be good,
Susa  does wrong  and tumbles down, and with her all the other Susas.
The story is told at several locations in SL with different layers:
Text and Image,Sound and installation.

My little brother Ronnie has great taste in music and women. He introduced me to Max Kleene and he also introduced me to StarZ33 McCullough.

StarZ Art Corner is a delightful outdoor gallery featuring many new and seasoned artists from the virtual world of Second Life. Some are real life artists, too bringing their art to the grid.

StarZ is also a real life photographer and you can find her work here. She paints, she draws... her passion is art and her encouragement to other artists is a testament to her love of art.

Il Trovatore was calling... Phantom Rose Opera House was presenting the entire 4th act of Il Trovatore!

I, Mizz Rafee made it just as they were starting and my angel, Xavier came a few minutes later. Snuggled into the big burgundy chairs, we settled into a wonderful afternoon of opera. Phantom Rose Opera House... I applaud you for bringing opera to the virtual world of Second Life.

You must go to S&S Gallery of Fine Arts show. Stefanik Dagstino presents a dark vision from artists ranging from Igor Ballyhoo's installation of Life in the Brightness of Day to the avatar nightmare of Rose Borchovski.



But, I was strongly taken in by Rose Borchovski's avatar images. Bald with faces frozen in pure horror, the doll-like avis were posed in nightmarish dreams.



... I loved it.

Xavi and I stopped off at Beehive Islands to check out Chuckmatrix Clip's study on light vs dark, angels vs demons, good vs evil...

Stunning sculptures rendered depicting the conflict between good and evil were shown between the angels and demons fighting an every day war.





Beautifully done, Chuckmatrix's work deserved to be seen by all. It is a reminder of the conflict in all of us. For CMC Designs, check out his gallery on Archan for more sculptures, paintings and design work.
