What a great year 2010 has been for us.

THE A LIST! tries to network everyone's business interests here in Second Life by providing a vehicle of transparency. We allow you to use this group for your needs. We even allow you to form your own group by using our resources to network. We do not restrict much except for the big no no's. We want our notices to be informative without drama or unsavory language. And, most of all, we respect you as business owners, group owners, club/venue owners, and artists/musicians.

The benefits are great for us, too. We get to hang out with you and attend great parties when we have the time. We go to your events because we really want to; not just because you are in our group. We applaud joyously for our musicians. We believe in you and we truly enjoy your music.

What we hope is that you all understand that we are doing the best we can with the limited resources and man-power to blog and social network your interests. Please do not allow your feelings to fester. Communicate with us if you see a problem or criticism. We are not perfect. And, real life often interferes with our schedule, so sometimes we can not be where we want to be with you.

We have also started a new flickr group called THE A LIST! Virtual. Please join us and share your photos. We want to tell everyone about your personal and business interests. Help us to spread the word about you!

Please feel free to post or comment your info on our virtual sites:

Virtual Lab has just uploaded a beautiful club concept from Switzerland.

Machinima artist and dj,  Eifachfilm sent a shout through THE A LIST! and we came over to check it out.

When I arrived, I was struck with a sense of peaceful existence with the digital grid. I could feel no lag!

Following the stairs as they unfolded in front of us, we climbed our way to the club.

You have to see this place. The photos do not give it justice. You must go to experience it.

New York 2095.
Une pyramide flottante au-dessus de
Manhattan...
Trois noms : Horus, Nikopol, Jill…

Nikopol Jill seduces him reciting a poem of Baudelaire's "A Carcass". The ceremony was punctuated by the lips tasting of Bordeaux. Spreading its wings over a New York reminiscent of Fritz Lang's Metropolis, man-god power Superman has physical desires, and impulses of rape of Amphitryon: under the guise of Nikopol, in a hotel room to mourn the flowers of evil, it enters the body of languid Jill enjoys his hugs and his abandonment as an alien.

dj mackenzie koenkamp, originally uploaded by rafeejewell.

One of the oldest trance dj's that I know was spinning a perfect set at the Fourth of July party at Mack Attack Island today.

Morex Marx, an old friend from the early beginnings of my Second Life, was doing the honors at dj Mackenzie Koenkamp's private party.

I saw a couple of other old timer's there, too. Some things never change on this rapidly changing grid... back to square one... my SL moves forward! Woot!

CLUBBING in Second Life

All the photos you see in the past blog posts... well, I made a little video with them. The videos are a nice way to have all the pictures in one place with music. These are some of our members or associates of THE A LIST! group in Second Life. The last frame is telling... we are not a club, just a business group to support all our members. Enjoy!

Much thanks to the following friends, club owners, djs, artists, art galleries and more!

dance island : isithedreamaker teskat

dance island isithedreamaker, originally uploaded by rafeejewell.

I can't sleep. I have been fiddling around with stuff on the land. Prims are too high and I need to eliminate unnecessary ones. Grrrrr... feeling hardcore... needing some hardstyle!

IsitheDreamaker Teskat was at Dance Island. So, I took Deirdre's ride and headed over to blow off a little steam.

The pounding started and dancing began, and I just let the sound and music take me away...

The club is large, open and bright. With a back drop of the glorious blue ocean, Touch is a chill place to hang with friends. Very relaxing and very comfortable... I could smell the fresh ocean air there and hear the sounds of the water. Very beautiful.

DJ False Pixelmaid said she just felt like spinning ... so she did... and what a grand way to top the time there. She spins a fun mashup of lots of genres of electro. I liked it a lot! =^.^=
